Art, for an artist, is food for the soul. Artistic creation is meditation in action. It nourishes the desire for beauty, clarity, and harmony. A work of art is always the distillation of a complex reality. Thus, art can be a means by which one learns to perceive a complex solution through a simplified image. Artists begin their work with intention and purpose. They have an idea of the final product they want to create, whether it be a song, a poem, a painting, or a film.
Definition of artistic talent
Artistic talent can be defined as mastering a skill so well that you don’t have to think about it. Once you’ve mastered a skill, you can transcend technique and focus on creation, invention, and innovation. Artists are constantly honing their craft by developing their skills. To take on more challenges and stay in the flow, you may need to acquire new skills. Instead, focus on developing your art, whatever form it may be. Slow down and become absorbed in the process. When you relax and enter that state of flow, you’ll notice your mind quieting and your creative imagination beginning to flow.
Pascal Robaglia’s professional life
Coming from a relatively well-off background, he had a happy childhood surrounded by loving parents. A serious student, he was immediately noticed during his schooling from a very young age. He earned a scientific baccalaureate with honors. He then continued his studies in Dijon until 1979, where he obtained his DES (Diploma of Higher Studies) from one of the most prestigious business schools in France. Having developed his entrepreneurial spirit early on, he was the founder and driving force behind the Junior Enterprise at his business school from 1976 to 1979. Since childhood, Pascal Robaglia has cultivated a strong appreciation for art.
However, Pascal Robaglia’s professional life did not begin in his chosen field: art. He took several steps before returning to his initial passion. First working in export for the perfume industry, he held management positions with major groups such as L’Oréal and Biotherm. He also completed several internships at Hermès and Roger Gallet, where he proved himself in various countries including Saudi Arabia, the USA, Hong Kong, Egypt, and Israel. He then ventured into the art market, becoming a gallery owner. It was through this path that he gained recognition.
His career as an art gallery owner
He finally decided to dedicate himself to his passion: art. In 1991, accompanied by his wife Sylvie Robaglia , he opened his own art gallery, and their eldest daughter, Elise, was born. They then decided to establish themselves in Le Vésinet, west of Paris, in a luxurious home that also housed their gallery. There, they presented exhibitions of authentic works (paintings, objets d’art, and furniture). They quickly achieved considerable success in this field.
Between 1991 and 2005, his fame suffered a decline due to marital problems and competition in the art market. But he didn’t rest on his laurels! He leveraged his expertise to continue as an art dealer, where he enjoyed even greater success.
